Neida's Baby Shower!

So it's been forever, yes..sorry!! However, I have a ton of posts coming in the near future!

Right now, it's time to celebrate with Neida and her family, who is expecting a beautiful baby girl in December!! I also catered her son Jadon's 3rd birthday a few months ago!

Her Baby Shower was a candy, jewel tone inspired party! Basically, when you walked in, it looked like Willy Wonka had taken over with jars upon jars filled with candy!!

So we created a variety of cupcakes that went along with the color and candy! Here are just two pictures I took before we got to the party!

So congratulations Neida!! I can't wait to see pictures of your newest family addition :)

Julianna is 8!!

This is a little delayed, but Julianna recently had her 8th birthday party at a local tea shop! The colors pink and white were chosen because of the location of the party; girly, dainty, and pretty :)

They ordered Chocolate cake with Vanilla frosting and Vanilla cake with pink vanilla frosting!

We placed a variation of monograms on top of each cupcake! Enjoy the pics!

And happy birthday Julianna!

Wedding Cupcakes!!

First off, Happy Fathers Day!!

We were hired a few months ago by Sital to do cupcakes for her June wedding! She kept the cupcakes very simple with decorations and had two flavors; Chocolate & Pistachio and Coconut!

Pistachio was her and her fiance's favorite flavor, so it was the perfect flavor for their wedding cakes!

Here are just a few pictures of the set up as well as one from The Florida Hotel (where the wedding took place)! We also did a jumbo cupcake for the two of them to share!!

Hope you enjoy!

My Favorite Cupcake!

As the baker for Confetti Cupcakery, it's definitely hard to play favorites with all of my cupcake flavors! I love each and every one of them, but after thinking hard about it I have come up with a favorite!

It may because of my memories as a child, sneaking into the refrigerator in search of that tube of raw cookie dough or the amazing smell of warm homemade chocolate chip cookies coming out of the oven! No matter the reason, I have a thing for Chocolate Chip cookies (baked and unbaked!!)

That "thing" inspired me to make it into a cupcake! It's been such a big hit with both kids and adults, it's a staple cupcake now at the market!!

Come on by and get our Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcake!! It's worth a trip down memory lane!!!

Under The Sea Cupcakes!!

A week or so before Chris and I went on our belated honeymoon, we were hired to do an "Under The Sea" birthday party! The party cupcakes were for both kids and adults, so we decided on two different flavors!

For the adults, we had our Key Lime Cupcakes with Key Lime Frosting. For the kids, we had our Cookies and Cream cake with Vanilla Frosting!

To make them an "Under The Sea" theme, we did the frostings in ocean colors; dark blue, light blue, greens, yellows, etc.!

The Key Lime cupcakes had blue and green frosting with a variety of blue, yellow, and green sugars! The Cookies and Cream cupcakes were decorated with dark and light blue frostings with the same variety of sugars!

They were a big hit and were definitely a lot of fun to work on!! :) Enjoy the photos!!

Jadon turns 3 with Wall E Cupcakes!!

Wall E is all the rage :)

Jadon, one of the cutest little guys I have ever met, just turned 3 years old!! For the birthday bash, Wall E cupcakes were needed!!

Being in love with everything Disney and all Pixar/Disney movies, it was a ton of fun to make these cupcakes!

The flavors ordered were:

Guava with Cream Cheese Frosting
Coconut with Coconut Buttercream
Signature Chocolate (Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Bean Buttercream)
Strawberry with Vanilla Bean Buttercream

Each flavor had a different colored frosting (Wall E themed, of course!) The colors were matched to Wall E's body, Eve's eyes, etc.!

I am really pleased with how they came out and especially to hear how much Jadon and the birthday party goers enjoyed them :)

Have a great day!

Jess

Fletcher/Brown Wedding Cupcakes!

Hey Everyone!

We were recently hired to cater a wedding being held at Cypress Grove Park in Orlando, FL!

Stacy ordered three different flavors;
Carrot Cake with Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese Frosting
Red Velvet Cake with Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese Frosting
Yellow Cake with Vanilla Bean Buttercream

She also wanted to put a frosting rose on top of each of the cupcakes and we decided to match the colors of her bouquet (Orange, Red, and Fuschia)! We designated a flavor with a specific color of rose; Carrot Cake had the orange roses while Red Velvet had red and Yellow had Fuschia!

In order to go along with tradition, we created a "cutting cake" for them to cut and feed each other at the reception!

Here are some pictures of the cakes! Enjoy :)

As I mentioned before, it was such a blast working on these cupcakes and I was honored to be a part of their special day!

Congratulations Stacy and Mario :)

Read All About It!

Hey everyone!

Happy Friday :) Recently, Confetti Cupcakery has been mentioned and written about on two separate occassions by two websites I read on a daily basis!

The first is with the amazing all things cupcake blog, Cupcakes Take The Cake

The post is in regards to our Guava/Cream Cheese and Mexican Chocolate Cupcakes being offered as a dessert item at El Coqui Mexicano!

You can read it here!

The second and most recent comes from Metromix Orlando

Metromix Orlando describes themselves as the following:

"your one-stop local entertainment guide on where to go and what to do in Orlando, from the hottest restaurants and bars, to the latest in events, music, movies, style, and TV."

The article, which talks about the Lake Eola Farmers Market (Downtown Orlando), also gives a shout out to Confetti Cupcakery and the variety of flavors we offer every Sunday!

You can check it out here!!

Unfortunately, due to the Spring Festival in Downtown Orlando, the market will be closed, but have a great weekend and we'll see you soon!

Our Newest Business Venture!

Hey!

I would like to announce that our cupcakes are now being offered at El Coqui Mexicano on the corner of Bumby and Washington in Downtown Orlando, FL!

For those who are unfamiliar with this place, it is a newly opened restaurant by our friends Rico and Evelyn Martinez. They are our neighbors at the Farmers Market and have done so well there over the past few years, they have opened up their own restaurant. The menu includes authentic Mexican and Puerto Rican foods (You won't find Burritos here!)

For dessert, they are now offering our popular Guava and Cream Cheese Cupcakes as well as our Mexican Chocolate Cupcakes!

Guava and Cream Cheese Cupcakes:

Moist Vanilla Cake infused with pieces of Guava paste and sweetened slightly with a home made guava syrup! The cake is topped off with a Vanilla Cream Cheese frosting and a small piece of guava! It really is heaven!

Mexican Chocolate Cupcakes:

Dark chocolate cake flavored with Ancho Chile Powder, Chipotle Chili Powder, and Cinnamon! The Cake is frosted with a Dark Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting and topped with Mexican Chocolate pieces and a dash of Chiptole Chili Powder!

Both cupcakes are the perfect way to end a meal at El Coqui Mexicano!! They are also available for take home and custom orders with their private parties!

Have a great day!

Jess
